;;;;;;;;;;Canadian abstract artist Ron Martin was born in London, Ontario, in 1943. He studied commercial and fine arts at Beal Tech secondary high school from 1960-1964. Martin shared his first studio with fellow Beal Tech graduate, Murry Favro for two years. In 1983, Martin established his own studio. Martin was very interested in the philosophy of art itself, and enjoyed conceptual art. ;;;;;;;;;;;;
