Pair of Monkeys

1993.17.04

Charlie Norris was born in Halifax, and lived from 1929 to 2013. He spent his life in Lower Prospect; a small fishing village, where he worked building homes with local wood. Norris would showcase his artwork of little carved people in the boats and homes on the roadside of his fishing village. The works of Charlie Norris are not very well known; his reason for creating the pieces was solely enjoyment.
