Emma LeLoup is a founding member of the New Waterford Arts Council, and a member of the Cape Breton Artists Association. LeLoup has spent many years sketching with charcoal and coloured pencils in northern B.C. After her years out west, LeLoup came back to Cape Breton and taught art classes at the Cape Breton School of Crafts and with New Waterford Continuing Education Program Here LeLoup also studied painting with artists like Irene Fraser, Thorn Morrow, Jan Gyorfi, and Richard Chaisson. Over the years, LeLoup painted with mostly oils and acrylics. Unfortunately today, LeLoup no longer paints due to vision problems.
