William Rodgers was an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (of which he was the former president), the Transparent Watercolour Society of America, and the Societe Canadienne de l’Aquarelle. In May, 2014, Rogers served as the Royal Tour Artist for the 2014 Royal Tour of Canada by His Royal Highness Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. Rogers teaches art at St.FX University and has workshops all over Canada. He depicts landscapes outside in open air, paints models from real life, and loves to paint horses.Â
