The portraits by Jan Gyorfi-West included in this exhibition
are a part of a larger series of 10 self-portraits and 38 oil
and pastel portraits of local artists and musicians who sat for
her in the artist’s home-studio. The collection was exhibited
May 12 – June 9, 2006 at the CBU Art Gallery.
Eleanor Jane Carson is an artist who lives in Sydney, NS
and has been creating watercolour paintings of the
lighthouses in Cape Breton, from Money Point to the Canso
Causeway.
