Esther Wertheimer is a world renowned Canadian sculptor. A piece of hers is installed at the Fukouka City Hall, Japan, and two of her pieces were selected for the Katsushika Performing Arts Centre in Tokyo. Born in Poland in 1926, Wertheimer moved to Montreal at a young age and grew up there. Her works are known for elongated movement.
